This is a critical time in the life of a church - choosing a new pastor.
If you will pray with us, as you come humbly forgiven before God, please pray that God's will is done at North Main Baptist Church, and in the lives of its people, now and in the future.
In a very moving personal message, Brother Jim shared his hopes with us that when he leaves the pulpit at North Main that he will have had time to spend with the new pastor, "Because I want him to know you like I do. I was at some of your births. Others of you, those who have had tragedies, I have been with you. I want him to know you from the inside out, like I do. I want him to love you as I do."
While I have only been going to North Main since 2003, this church has been incredibly blessed with real leadership by a man who loves Jesus with all his heart, and who engages that love with the people he leads.
Brother Jim is a gift to many, and an example of integrity, honor, and Love.
Our Prayer Request:
1. Pray for personal forgiveness and cleansing.
2. Pray for our pastor, Brother Jim, and his wife, Vicki.
3. Pray for the health of all those in the church who are experiencing physical or spiritual infirmity.
4. Pray that we will have the wisdom, discernment and patience to find God’s man.
5. Pray for God’s intervention and leadership in this search.
6. Pray that we will all step up and fulfill our roles here at NMBC.
7. Pray that God’s will is done in this church and its people, now and in the future
