Thirty Days

Cleanse me, Lord, by Your Grace.

Thank you, Lord, for Brother Jim, a true shepherd, full of Your love and compassion.

Your Name is Holy in North Main Baptist Church and in the lives of its members.

Praise You, God Almighty, for healing by Your holy hand, touching each member of NMBC.

We pray, Father, for wisdom, discernment and patience, as the deacons and the church search for the next pastor. Lord, send Your angels before us, prepare the way, and the heart of the one you will send to NMBC. Prepare us, Lord, to know who he is.

Intervene and lead this church, Lord.

Help each of us, Lord, to fulfill our roles at church. Show us, help us to know what we can offer to one another, making good of our faith through deeds.

Now we see dimly, as through a glass, but then we will see clearly. Until then, our understanding is small, so above all, we pray that Your will be done, at NMBC and in the lives of each member, now and in the future; on earth as it is in heaven.

We desire to be actively living in Your will.

Almighty God, we lift these prayers to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
