Thirty Days

Cleanse me, Lord, by Your Grace. May I come before you washed clean so that there is no stain on the words of my prayers.

Praise God for Brother Jim, such a true shepherd, full of God's love and compassion.

Praise God for North Main Baptist Church. His Name is Holy in our church and in our lives. Praise God for healing by His holy hand, touching each member of NMBC.

Praise God for wisdom, discernment and patience, as the deacons and the church search for the next pastor. Lord, send Your angels before us, prepare the heart of the one you will send to NMBC, and prepare us, Lord, to know who he is.

Intervene and lead this church, Lord. When we fall stray from Your path, lead us back so that we walk in Your Way.

Help each of us, Lord, to fulfill our roles at church. Show us, help us to know what we can offer to one another, making good of our faith through deeds.

We know, Father, that we see only a little piece of the picture, and that our understanding is small. Above all, we pray that Your will be done, at NMBC and in the lives of each member, now and in the future; on earth as it is in heaven. We desire to be actively living in Your will.

Almighty God, Creator of all, our Sustainer and Redeemer, because You have provided us a way to live eternally with You, we lift these prayers to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
