TAMUK Women’s Basketball Signs Two More for 2006-07
Spring’s Bullinger, Vallejo, Calif.’s Toki to join Javs next seasonTuesday, June 20, 2006 Kingsville--Texas A&M University-Kingsville women’s basketball coach Dina Kangas announced on Tuesday that Spring’s Dyana Bullinger and Vallejo, Calif.’s Welana Toki will join the Javelinas starting with the 2006-07 academic year. Bullinger, a 5’9”, guard, comes to TAMUK from Klein High School where she played for coach Tresa Hornsby. She averaged 11.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game as a senior in 2005-06. She was named first team all-district each of the last two years and was named to the Greater Houston Area All-Star Team last season as well. She was the team MVP each of the last two seasons and was the team defensive player of the year as a junior. She helped KHS to district playoff appearances in 2004-05 and 2005-06.
