After the awesome aerobatics at FCI I met some relatives for the first time - mom's cousin, Emma Jon and her husband, David. What a wonderfully loving couple they are. They hosted me at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort Wed. night and then we drove to Carefree for a leisurely dinner on Thursday. We had a grand time together, sharing and getting to know each other.
And the cacti are HUGE there!!!
In this third picture where it looks like just a rocky mountain, there are actually houses build in the side of the mountains - it's hard to see them, but they're there. They blend in really well with the natural landscape.
