Here's a good one Angie told me last night:
A nurse who was involved in Myles's care during the most recent hospital visit told Angie she recognized the name. She said, "I know this name! We've been praying for him for two years!" Myles's name has been on their church prayer list for two years and while she had never met him or been involved in his care before, she had been praying for him and now had the opportunity to meet him.
I just think that's a really cool story!
And here's some great news from my friend, Rob Krause:
I saw Rob Saturday night at the Answering the Call banquet and he told me he's going back to Africa - this time for two years! I first met Rob earlier this year on my first trip to Africa. He is such a special young man who I am very honored and proud to call my friend. Rob will be preaching and working in the mission field all over Central Africa and maybe some other places - I have yet to get more details from him. I know he will be spending a lot of time in Congo and Sudan. If you could have seen what I saw in the reaction when we crossed the border from Rwanda into Congo; how happy the people were when they saw Rob, you'd have no doubt this is where the rest of his family lives. He is deeply loved all over the world, and has a really special place in the heart of Africa - and in my heart as well.
When he returns in two years he will re-evaluate his plans for seminary, but meanwhile, if you are interested in helping to support Rob, you can contact Answering the Call for more information at www.answeringthecall.org. Rob will be seeking financial and prayer support during the two years he will be there serving the Lord.
