A Myles Update

Round One of chemo is over now and Myles has been released to go home until Monday, when Round Two begins. However, tomorrow (Wed., July 27th), he will go in for another CT scan, as planned, to see how much the tumors have reduced. Doctors expect to see a 20% reduction in the first week.

Angie says Myles seems to be feeling well today and she was taking him to get Mexican food for lunch before going home.

When they return to Riley on Monday for Round Two, that will be the harshest round of chemo he will have because of one particular drug in the mix. His immunity will begin to decline soon and they will return to isolation.

Following successful chemotherapy, Myles will begin again with the transplant of his daddy's bone marrow.
