What's Linda up to now? Well... receiving requests to share our story of Faith with churches and Sunday school groups, I pray God would heal lives through ours... leaving for Roanoke next week and then on to Sudan on Feb.24th... Been doing some solo flight in a Cessna 152 - I just love Ellington Field! This week there was a mock deployment going on and you shoulda seen all the Apaches and bombs ...and, and, and... you shoulda seen me flying underneath four F-16's! Now that was fun! ...If the weather's good I'll try out a Piper Cherokee up in Roanoke... and maybe Ronnie will even find an couple hours to get away and ride along... :-) ....when I return Anthony's gonna take me skydiving! Hmmm... what's wrong with this picture - my flight instructor's gonna show me how to jump OUT of a perfectly good airplane? ... Should have plenty of good pics to share with yall when I return!
I expect I'll be back in Liberty about March 10th or 11th. I may make a detour up to Indy, as Angie has invited me to be her guest at a banquet honoring scholarship winners....and her essay was chosen over thousands! You go, girl!
Zelda Rose now has 10,000 miles... Rusty says ZR and I are both getting old now! - Thanks, Bro, but remember, you're always gonna be older!
Check back again on this blog, leave comments if you'd like. I may not update it until I return from Sudan.
Love yall,
Linda
